Animal Exposure Photo Contest Rules Contest is open to all amateur photographers ages 16 and above. Henson Robinson Zoo staff and volunteers and their immediate families are not eligible. Only photos taken at Henson Robinson Zoo are eligible for contest entry. Photos may be of scenery, animals and/or people. Photographs must be taken between 6/16/07 and 8/16/07. Photo Specifications Photo entries must be in digital format when submitted. Regular photos must be scanned and submitted on a CD or emailed to [email protected]. Photos must be submitted in JPEG format. Photo files must not be larger than 4 megabytes. When submitting a photo, the entrant is acknowledging that he/she has taken the photograph entered. All photos/CDs become the property of the Henson Robinson Zoo and will not be returned. Please do not send in the only copy of your CD. If the photo contains a readily identifiable person as a subject, the photographer must submit the person’s name, address and phone number. If the subject is a minor, the parent or guardian’s information must be included. Photographers retain the right to use the submitted photo, although submitting photographers agree to allow Henson Robinson Zoo to use the photo in publications such as the zoo website and newsletter. The Henson Robinson Zoo reserves the right not to accept any photo that does not meet the specifications and requirements and is not responsible for lost or damaged CDs, as well as those not received by the contest deadline. Top three photographs will be chosen by a zoo committee and will be displayed in the zoo lobby 9/8/07-9/29/07. The winner will be chosen by public votes and announced at Fur, Feather, Fin Fall Fling on October 6, 2007. |
