Teaching Assistant Internship

This is an unpaid internship that will be offered during the summer months. �Duties include helping the on-staff teacher with preparation for, teaching of, and cleaning up after classes.� Interns will also research and plan a themed curriculum.

Applicants must be college juniors or seniors.� Education, Biology, Psychology and Environmental Education majors are preferred. �Interested applicants need to submit a cover letter, resume, application form, school transcript and two letters of reference.� Application deadline for summer 2004 is Friday, March 19, 2004.

Education Ambassador Internship

This is an unpaid internship during the summer.� Duties include performing animal programs, presenting explorations stations and conducting mini tours through exhibit area of the zoo.� Education Ambassador Interns are also responsible for the daily care of a small collection of education animals.
