Downloading Internet Explorer 3.02

Installing Internet Explorer 3.02

Once you have downloaded Internet Explorer 3.02, you'll need to install the program.
To do this, find the file that you downloaded.
If you know where you downloaded the file to, find it and double click it to start the install process.
If you don't know where the file is follow these simple instructions.
  1. Click the start button.
  2. Choose Find, then choose Files or Folders.
  3. Type msie in the Named area.
  4. Make sure that the Look In: space has your root directory.
    Here's how it should look. In this case my C drive is my root directory.

  5. Click the Find Now button.
    You should get something like this:

    The file you find may have a different name like msie302m95.exe, but you want the file that has an .exe extension.
  6. Double click the msie file with the .exe extension and follow the intructions.
    In this example, I would double click the file called Msie302.exe.
  7. At this point the install program should talk you through the rest of the installation.
