Specific dates and times are listed next to each individual class for your convenience. All classes are taught by trained zoo personnel and include admission to the zoo for the enrolled child, games, snacks, crafts, activities, and usually a visit from one of the special education animals.
The cost for each class is $5.00 for Springfield Zoological Society Members and $7.00 for Non-members. Class size is limited to 15 individuals and must be received one week prior to class.
Please note age requirements of each class; only those of appropriate age will be admitted. Your cooperation will ensure an enjoyable program for all.
These classes are designed for your animal lover who is not quite ready to leave the pouch. You, or another guardian, get to participate in this one hour long class. Come spend some quality time with your child and learn about exciting animals and fascinating places.

| Will it turn into a prince when you kiss it?. Will it give you warts? Come and learn about amphibians (frogs, toads and salamanders) and dispel some of these myths. |

| Many animals start off their life in eggs. Find out more about which baby animals come from this "eggcredible" shape. |
These programs are for your little cub that is ready to head out of the den on their own(adults are not recommended to stay).

| Can you run 70 mph, or crush a mouse with your feet? Discover some animals that have some "super animal adaptations" and what they do to be first in their class. |
Let your little monkeys swing through the zoo with these two hour programs especially made for �older� children.
